This past weekend, Claire and Ryan were married in the Ault Park Rose Garden, with a reception that followed at the Ault Park Pavilion. We got a glimpse of the gorgeous professional photos from Fyrefly Photography in a slideshow at the reception, but until we can see all of the images, here is a sneak peek (as always) from my iPhone. Left-to-right: The bride’s beautiful bouquet designed by Inspired Floral, Claire’s amazingly talented friend sang Adele’s “Make You Feel My Love” during the ceremony, each table at the reception was named after a movie (Poeme created the table cards), and the cake from Bonbonerie.
Sneak Peek: Katie and Matt’s Wedding at Summit Chapel and the Hilton Netherland Plaza
August 2, 2010This past weekend, Katie and Matt were married at The Summit Chapel, on the campus of Summit Country Day School. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Hilton Netherland Plaza’s Continental Room. I know that Bluebird Photography and Northernlight Filmworks will have gorgeous images and film of the day, but in the meantime here is a sneak peek! From left to right: The stunning Summit Chapel, the happy bride and groom exiting their ceremony, cymbidium orchid centerpieces by Adrian Durban, cake by DessertWorks.
Sneak Peek: Emily and Bo’s Wedding at St. Augustine and the Hall of Mirrors | Cincinnati, Ohio
July 26, 2010This past weekend, Emily and Bo were married at St. Augustine in Covington, with a reception following at the Hilton Netherland Plaza’s Hall of Mirrors. It was a HOT day, but Father Schmidt was kind and kept the (un-air-conditioned) ceremony short so that everyone could quickly get to the much cooler confines of the Hilton. Below as always is a sneak peek of the day via my iPhone… from left to right: The ceremony in progress, one of the gorgeous centerpieces by Jones the Florist, the cake by Fantasy in Frosting, and the personalized bottles of wine that were given to guests as favors at the end of the night.
Olivia and Michael’s Wedding at Ault Park Rose Garden and the Metropolitan Club | Cincinnati
July 24, 2010Earlier this summer, Olivia and Michael were married at the Ault Park Rose Garden. There were many special touches to the day, from the programs that Olivia made herself, to the fact that the ceremony was officiated by her brother. It was an absolutely gorgeous day for a park wedding and Olivia and her bridesmaids took advantage of the sunshine by getting in a few photos at Eden Park prior to the ceremony.
The flowers for both the ceremony and reception were created by Ruttle and Neltner Florist, and the soft shades of ivory, pink and peach looked beautiful against the bridesmaids’ chocolate brown dresses. The flowers lining the ceremony aisle were later taken to the reception site and re-purposed in vases throughout the room.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Metropolitan Club in Covington, Kentucky. The Club’s ballroom has a stunning panoramic view of the Ohio River and downtown Cincinnati, and was the perfect setting for dinner and toasts. In an adjacent room, guests watched Olivia and Michael cut their delicious wedding cake from A Spoon Fulla Sugar (and of course enjoyed some themselves) and then danced the night away!

Chris and Lindsay’s Wedding at Collier Chapel and Schindler Banquet Center | Xenia, Ohio
July 16, 2010
When Lindsay first contacted me, she was just six weeks away from her wedding day. She and her mom had planned everything, but as the day got closer they were starting to stress about the final details and decided to hire a wedding coordinator. I was so excited that we still had her date available, and were able to take that extra stress away. We helped pull together the weekend timeline, took care of confirming all of the vendors (including the last-minute addition of a videographer) and helped to create a seating plan for their 270 guests (a never fun task made much easier by our seating plan software). With all of the loose ends tied up, it was time for Lindsay and Chris to get married and celebrate with their friends and family!
Lindsay has impeccable style and it was clear that purple is her favorite color. From the bridesmaids’ and flower girls’ dresses to the floral arrangements and the table numbers/menus (created by Lindsay’s mom, Holly), all of the various shades of purple tied in together to create a beautiful, vintage look and feel. The ceremony took place at Collier Chapel, located on The Legacy Campus in Xenia, Ohio. The addition of a simple fabric curtain at the back of the chapel was all that was needed to create a perfect and dreamy look for the ceremony.
The Legacy Campus is home to many gorgeous spots that photographers Sandra and Shad of Sandra Reed Photography took advantage of for capturing portraits of Lindsay, Chris, their wedding party and families. Lindsay and Chris chose to have their “first look” earlier in the day before the ceremony, so that they would have more than enough time for photos and would not have to miss much of the beginning of their reception for post-ceremony photos.
The reception took place at Schindler Banquet Center, also located on The Legacy Campus. The Banquet Center is a gorgeous room filled with tall windows, and Lindsay chose beautiful ivory and champagne linens to continue the vintage look. Her cake table and escort card table were accented with purple/gold linens that tied in beautifully with all of the details of the day. All of the floral arrangements and personal flowers were created by Mark at The Flower Shoppe, and the delicious 6-tier cake was designed and baked by Melissa at Frosted.
The reception included an Italian Soda bar where guests could choose their own flavors, and a photobooth from Shutterbooth. After dancing through the evening to music played by Scott of Party Pleasers, Lindsay and Chris exited through a line of sparklers for a picture-perfect send off!
