Yesterday was Sarah and Neil’s wedding– could the weather have been more perfect??? Sure, the wind was causing some issues with our table runners, but I much prefer wind to rain.

The ceremony was held at St. Timothy Parish in Union, KY about 5 minutes from the Wilson’s home. During the ceremony, back at the Wilson’s house, my lovely assistant Lauren completed all the setup and collected the gorgeous fruit display from Edible Arrangements (those things weigh a ton!).

The caterers (Sonny’s BBQ) arrived soon after, to set up under the tents (borrowed; all other rentals from Nelson’s), and the DJ (Tony from DJ Butlers) arrived as well. I can’t say enough positive things about either. Sonny’s was very prompt, friendly, professional and most importantly DELICIOUS. They fit right in with the casual vibe that Sarah and Neil wanted. Tony also did a great job of keeping the party going without ever once crossing in to “cheesy” territory as so many DJs unfortunately do.

And to top it all off– the evening ended with a fantastic fireworks show. My pictures don’t at all do it justice! When I get the pro pics from Cory, I will post a few.

All in all, it was a great wedding and Sarah and Neil are adorable together!
