Last weekend (9/15) I was actually a guest at wedding! That’s a rare treat for me. Seth and I drove up to St. Clairsville for our friends Laurann and Dan’s wedding. Their reception followed at Undo’s. It was a beautiful wedding and reception, and it was fun to see some Xavier friends that we haven’t seen a long time. As a guest, and being out-of-town, I unfortunately don’t have any vendor names to share, but they all did a wonderful job and the wedding went very smoothly! My camera batteries died, and as a guest I did not have my emergency kit with me! So no pictures for now.

Tonight I played dual roles as coordinator and guest, as I coordinated my friend Lauren’s wedding. She and Kyle had both their ceremony and reception at Krohn Conservatory in Eden Park. Gorgeous location. Her photographer, Jenny McGraw of Fresh View Studio is great to work with, and her caterer, Jeff Thomas Catering, is one my favorites locally. I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to taste the cake from Bonbonerie, but it looked absolutely fabulous. Ceremony music was by Brian Lovely, and reception by Marvin and the Experience (a new favorite!).

Tonight, the Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting Gallery will be hosting a “girls’ night in” to include drinks, snacks, and a variety of “female-friendly” vendors (myself included!). It may sound like an odd spot to host an event, but their showroom is amazing!

Feel free to stop by my table to get some information, ask any wedding/event planning questions or to just say hi. The event will take place from 6-8 at Ferguson (click for directions).
